In desi and Unani tradition, Kasturi has been used in these ways:

• Used to make homemade attar and perfume oils
• Kept with clothes and in cupboards for a lasting fragrance
• Added in small amounts to fragrance blends and dhooni

Mix a very small amount into a carrier oil to make attar, or keep a little wrapped in cloth with your clothes.
