Quince Seeds (Bihidana) (بہیدانہ)
Bihidana are the small, dark seeds of the quince fruit. When soaked in water, they make a soft, clear gel (lu’aab).

Traditional uses of Bihidana
In desi and Unani tradition, Bihidana has been used in these ways:
- Soaked in water and the gel taken in the tradition for a soothing throat
- Used in cooling summer drinks
- The gel is used on the skin in homemade beauty care
How people commonly use it
Soak half a teaspoon in a cup of water for 1 to 2 hours, then use the gel. Do not crush the seeds.
